A durable, washable, low-sheen wall paint built for busy homes — wipeable, hardwearing, and made without oils or solvents.

Lifestyle is Earthborn’s emulsion for the hardest-working walls in the house. Where Claypaint is the breathable, ultra-matt choice for older and lime-plastered homes, Lifestyle is the tough, wipe-clean alternative for the rooms that take a battering — hallways, stairwells, kitchens, playrooms and family spaces.

It has a classic, very low-sheen finish and a high solid content, so it covers well and applies easily. And because it’s water-based and virtually odour-free, there’s no lingering solvent smell — you can paint a room and move back in the same day.

Lifestyle is durable and washable — its whole reason for being. Marks, scuffs, fingerprints and mucky paws wipe away rather than staining, so the walls that get touched most stay looking fresh for longer. The surface is fully wipeable once cured.

It’s formulated without oils, virtually VOC-free (less than 0.5 g/l), child and baby safe and vegan friendly — a genuinely eco-conscious alternative to conventional washable emulsions, without the nasty smells or harmful emissions.

The practical detail:

• Coverage: approximately 10–12m² per litre

• Touch-dry in 1–2 hours; allow 6–12 hours between coats; fully wipeable after 10 days

Lifestyle Emulsion is ideal for:

• Hallways, stairwells and landings — the highest-traffic walls in any home

• Kitchens and family rooms — where walls get marked, splashed and touched daily

• Busy modern homes — anywhere durability and washability matter more than breathability

Not sure whether you need Claypaint or Lifestyle?

It’s the question we’re asked most, so here’s the honest answer:

• Choose Claypaint for older, solid-walled or lime-plastered homes, where breathability matters — Claypaint is significantly more breathable, and Lifestyle is not recommended for lime-plastered surfaces.

• Choose Lifestyle for busy, hard-wearing walls in modern homes, where washability matters most.

Both are virtually VOC-free, child-safe and water-based. If you’re unsure, send us a photo of your project on WhatsApp — honest advice from an architect-led paint shop, not just a checkout.

A few things worth knowing:

• Surfaces must be dry, clean and grease-free. Prime bare or porous surfaces first for best results.

• Apply two coats for full colour and durability.

• The surface reaches full washability after about 10 days — treat it gently until then.

• A Lifestyle sample is available in White — to check the low-sheen finish itself. For colours, order a Claypaint sample (the colour range is shared), noting the sheen differs slightly between the two, so the finish will look a touch different.

• Slight colour variation between batches is natural — mix tins for a large job.
